Technology

Technology selected around material, market and site.

Sporadicate is technology agnostic. We integrate proven specialist equipment and targeted development work into a single commercial recovery model.

Material Recovery

Sorting and routing keep suitable polymers in circular material pathways where established recovery is preferable.

Thermal Conversion

Selected difficult plastics can be converted into Recycled Hydrocarbon Feedstock for downstream industrial processing.

Residual Treatment

Targeted biological and environmental development programmes investigate treatment options for remaining material and wider remediation applications.

Technical model

Partnership-led validation.

At this stage, Sporadicate does not need a large permanent in-house research department. Specialist technical and scientific capability is engaged around defined work packages, test programmes and commercial projects.

How technical work is governed

  • Clear project scope and measurable technical questions
  • Defined ownership or commercial rights for new know-how where applicable
  • Independent testing and evidence where required
  • Environmental and regulatory validation alongside engineering
  • Commercial end-use requirements built into technical development
Innovation areas

Research that expands the platform.

Longer-term work may include fungi and mycelium, microplastic mitigation, PFAS remediation and engineered carbon materials. These programmes are treated as defined development opportunities rather than assumptions required for the first site's commercial case.
