Research areas

Exploration with practical applications in mind.

✽

Mycology & enzymes

Investigating fungal communities, pretreatment and enzyme systems as potential routes for handling selected residual waste components.

Rigour over claims

Clear about what is being tested.

Our research programmes are not yet evidence that particular contaminants have been destroyed or that residual materials are free of microplastics. Performance claims will follow appropriate independent validation and regulatory review.
